About Hoowooh
Hoowooh converts books and documents into cinematic, scenario-based AI audiobooks. Upload an EPUB or PDF, scan a printed page, or paste plain text, choose a voice and narration style, and generate audio to stream or download.
Scenario-based narration adjusts tone and pacing to fit the content instead of reading everything the same way, and features like OCR scanning and consent-based voice cloning go beyond a flat read-aloud tool. See Features for the full list.

Conversion & Formats
Files, scans and text
EPUB ebooks, text-based and scanned PDFs, printed pages captured with your camera, and plain or pasted text. See Ebook to Audiobook for the full comparison.
No. DRM-protected EPUBs and similarly protected files cannot be converted. Use files you own or are authorized to use — see the Copyright Policy.
Review and edit the recognized text before generating audio. See Scan Book to Audio for scanning tips.
Where a file has headings or bookmarks — like EPUB or a structured PDF — chapters are detected automatically. Plain text usually needs headings added manually.

Hoowooh is designed around 15–20 AI voices, previewable before you generate a full audiobook. See Voices.

Yes, with the speaker's clear consent. Custom voices are private to your account and never used for anonymous impersonation. See Voice Cloning.
No. Voice cloning is intended for your own voice or a voice you have explicit consent to use, never public figures or impersonation.

Plans & billing
The free plan includes one free conversion with no credit card required, plus more conversions for friend invites. A Premium plan adds unlimited conversions. See Pricing.

Privacy & Safety
Your content & voice
Yes. Uploaded files, scans and generated audio are private to your account by default, with deletion controls available. See Security.
Yes. Delete uploaded files, scans, custom voices and downloaded audio from your account at any time.

Offline & Listening
Player & downloads
Yes. Download any generated audiobook as MP3 and listen with no internet connection. See Offline Listening.
Yes. Generating requires a connection; listening to the downloaded result afterward doesn't.
