Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum information needed to operate HooWooh and produce your audiobooks. This includes:

• Account information - your name, email address, and authentication details when you create an account.
• Uploaded files - ebook files and scanned book images you submit for conversion.
• Voice samples - audio you provide to create a custom voice (only when you choose to use voice cloning).
• Usage data - basic app analytics such as conversions made, features used, and crash diagnostics.

Your information is used to convert your books into audiobooks, generate and store your custom voices, sync your library across devices, process subscriptions and invites, and improve the reliability of the app. We do not sell your personal data.

Uploaded files and generated audiobooks are stored so you can access them across your devices and download them offline. You can delete any audiobook, upload, or voice from your account at any time. Deleted items are removed from active storage promptly and purged from backups within a defined retention window.

Custom voices are private by default. A voice you create from someone's audio is available only to your account and is never used to train shared or public models. We require that you have the speaker's consent before creating a voice, and you may delete a custom voice - and its source samples - at any time.

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of this in the app settings, or contact us to make a request. Deleting your account removes your uploads, generated audio, and custom voices.

We share data only with service providers that help us run the app (for example, cloud hosting and payment processing) under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms, or where required by law. These providers may access data only to perform services on our behalf.
