HooWooh converts books and documents you provide — including uploaded files, camera scans, pasted text and voice samples — into AI-narrated audio. Because that process involves personal and sometimes sensitive content, this policy pays particular attention to how that material is handled.

Voice samples submitted for custom voice cloning are treated as sensitive data. Use of voice cloning is governed by the Voice Consent Policy, which requires clear consent before a voice can be cloned. Custom voices created through HooWooh are private to the account that created them and are not shared with other users.

HooWooh does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with:

• Service providers who help operate the app (such as hosting or processing infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect HooWooh's legal rights
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a materially similar one

Uploaded files, scans, generated audio and custom voices are retained for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You can delete uploaded content, generated audio and custom voices from your account at any time. Deleting your account is expected to remove associated content within a reasonable period, subject to backup and legal retention requirements to be defined before launch.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Requests can be submitted through the Contact page. Specific mechanisms and response timelines will be confirmed as HooWooh finalizes compliance with applicable regional privacy laws.

HooWooh is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing without parental permission, and does not knowingly collect personal information from such children. Parents and guardians who believe a child has provided information to HooWooh should contact us.
