1. Respecting copyright

HooWooh respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. The app is a personal listening tool; it does not grant any rights to copyrighted books, documents, or recordings.

2. Your responsibility

You may only upload or scan content that you own or are otherwise authorized to convert for personal use. You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold the necessary rights for any material you submit.

  • Do not convert or distribute works you do not have permission to use.
  • Do not share generated audiobooks of copyrighted works publicly.
  • Keep personal conversions for personal listening only.

3. Reporting infringement

If you believe content on HooWooh infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent including: identification of the work, the material in question, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your signature.

4. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice with the required information. We will review and respond in accordance with applicable law.

5. Repeat infringers

We may, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are found to repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.

6. Designated agent

Send copyright notices to our designated agent at copyright@hoowooh.example.
