Accessibility Statement
Draft template — not yet reviewed by a lawyer or accessibility auditor. This page describes accessibility as a goal, not a certified or audited compliance claim. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel and, ideally, an accessibility audit, before being published as a formal compliance statement.
Our commitment
HooWooh exists partly because reading isn't equally easy or comfortable for everyone. We aim to make www.hoowooh.com and the HooWooh app usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Standards we aim for
We are working toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for www.hoowooh.com. This is a goal we are building toward, not a certification of current compliance, and it will be updated to reflect actual audit results once conducted.
Known limitations
HooWooh is currently pre-launch, and a formal accessibility audit has not yet been completed. Specific known issues, along with a timeline for addressing them, will be listed here as they are identified through testing and user feedback.
Accessibility in the app
Beyond the website, HooWooh's core product — converting text into audio — is itself intended as an accessibility-supporting tool for readers who prefer or need an audio-first format. See Audio-First Reading for more on how narration modes and playback controls support this.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on www.hoowooh.com or in the HooWooh app, please let us know through the Contact page. Include the page or feature involved and, if possible, the assistive technology you were using — this helps us prioritize fixes.
