Terms and Conditions

By creating an account or using HooWooh's app or website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use HooWooh.

HooWooh converts books and documents you provide — including uploaded files, camera scans, and pasted text — into AI-narrated audio, using AI voices or a custom voice created with consent. HooWooh also provides a curated library of ready-to-play audiobooks.

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create a HooWooh account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You retain ownership of the files, scans, text and voice samples you provide to HooWooh ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant HooWooh a limited license to process it solely to provide the service to you — generating narrated audio and, where applicable, a custom voice.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload, scan or otherwise submit Your Content, in line with the Copyright Policy and, for voice samples, the Voice Consent Policy.

Use of HooWooh is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits, among other things, uploading content you do not have rights to, attempting to bypass DRM, and misusing voice cloning features.

Custom voice cloning requires clear, informed consent from the speaker whose voice is being cloned, as described in the Voice Consent Policy. You represent that you have obtained any necessary consent before submitting a voice sample.

HooWooh offers a free plan and a paid Premium plan. Current plan details are described on the Pricing page. Billing terms, including renewal and cancellation policies, will be confirmed and made available before Premium plans go live.

HooWooh's software, branding, and generated narration technology are the property of HooWooh or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to HooWooh's intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.

HooWooh is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, HooWooh disclaims warranties of any kind and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

You may stop using HooWooh and delete your account at any time. HooWooh may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.

The governing law and jurisdiction applicable to these Terms will be confirmed and specified here before launch.

These Terms may be updated as HooWooh develops. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date, and, where appropriate, additional notice will be provided.
